Latex Processing: The latex sap is processed either by the Dunlop or Talalay method. The Dunlop method involves stirring, molding, and baking the sap. It results in a dense, heavy, and firm mattress. The Talalay method, on the other hand, involves a vacuum and flash-freezing technique in addition to molding and baking. This produces a lighter and softer latex that’s more uniform in texture.

Customization: For a custom mattress, specifications such as size, firmness, and layer configuration are decided based on the customer’s preferences and needs.

Layering: Depending on the chosen configuration, layers of processed latex of different firmness levels are assembled. Some companies even offer split firmness for couples with different comfort preferences.

Covering: The latex core is then covered with a casing. This casing is often made of organic cotton or wool, and it adds to the overall comfort and aesthetic of the mattress.

Quality Check and Delivery: The final mattress is checked for quality assurance. Once it passes all the checks, it’s packed and shipped to the customer.
